No, you are only charged for a Booking once a Venue Manager accepts your Booking Request.
When submitting a Booking Request, an authorisation hold is placed on your card for the full amount of the Booking. If the Venue Manager declines the request or if it expires (the Venue Manager has 2 business days to accept it), that hold is automatically lifted by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and the funds are returned to your account.
Please note that the authorisation hold may show up on your bank statement as a 'pending' or 'processing' charge before disappearing. Tagvenue does not control the length of time it takes funds to process back to the account. The average is 3-5 days depending on your payment card provider.
