To get started with your new venue listing, simply follow the steps below. Our team is also always on hand to help you fully set up your Tagvenue profile if needed.
1. Create a new venue
If you’re adding your first venue, simply click Get Started and follow the next steps to complete your venue profile.
Already have listings? Head to the Venues section on your main dashboard and click Add a new venue to create another one.
2. Add venue details
Enter the venue name and description. For more information on how to properly create a venue description, please refer to the “How to add a Venue description?” article. Click Continue to proceed.
Complete the venue address by adding the correct street, city, and postcode details. Additional information, such as the floor number, unit, or building name, can also be included in Street address line 2 to help guests locate the venue more easily.
Drag the pin to the exact location of the venue on the map. You can zoom in or out to place it more accurately. Click Continue to proceed.
Choose your catering setup. If your venue offers in-house catering, select the available cuisines and dietary requirements you can accommodate. Mark ✔ all applicable choices to give guests a clear overview of your offering.
If your venue sells or serves alcohol, mark the alcohol licence availability and specify the latest permitted serving time. Please also confirm whether guests are allowed to bring their own alcohol to the venue. Once all information is completed, click Continue to proceed.
Complete the venue details by marking all available parking options. If your venue has on-site parking, you may also add the number of spaces available.
Please mark whether ticketed events are allowed and, if applicable, indicate the venue’s age policy. Once completed, click Continue to proceed.
3. Add your first space
After completing the venue details, click Add space to create your first space.
Enter the space name and description, highlighting the types of events the space can host, along with its facilities and key features.
Complete the remaining space details:
Space type: Choose the appropriate space type and indicate what part of the venue this space represents. Example: Dining Room in a Restaurant; Private space within the venue.
Photos: Upload at least 4 photos to the profile. For more information on how to properly complete this step, please refer to the “How to Add Photos of My Venue on Tagvenue?” article.
3D Tour: Upload a walkthrough of the space if available.
Capacities and layouts: Confirm the maximum capacities for your space and the layout arrangements it can accommodate. You may also upload the space’s floor plan in the Floor Plan section, if available.
Features: Mark ✔ all facilities available in the listed space and use the Custom Facilities field to add any additional features. Please only include facilities available within the selected space; venue accessibility features are added separately at the end of the section.
Search keywords: Select all keywords that best describe the types of events your space can host, along with the building style and space type.
Prices and hours: Add your pricing details and operating hours for the listed space. For more information on how to properly complete this step, please refer to the “How Do I Add My Prices and Opening Hours?” article.
4. Finalise your spaces
Once all required information has been added and your space is ready to be published, you can proceed with publishing the venue profile by clicking Continue, or add more spaces by selecting Add another space. We suggest adding 2 and more spaces for better visibility of the venue in the search results, with one space fitting 20-60 people capacity, because it is the most searchable range on the platform. You will also be able to add more spaces after finishing the venue profile.
5. Add host rules and the cancellation policy.
Include any permissions, restrictions, decoration rules, smoking policies, or other important venue guidelines guests should be aware of.
Select the cancellation policy that works best for your venue. You may also add a custom policy or choose None if the available options do not fit your requirements. Indicate whether event rescheduling is allowed in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Note: If your venue is a dry hire venue, you will need to choose one of four predefined cancellation policies.
6. Review and publish your venue profile
Click Preview to review your venue profile and ensure all details and images are displayed correctly, then click Publish venue.
7. What happens next
After completing the setup, your venue will be submitted for review. Our team will go through your profile and let you know as soon as it is approved and live. Please note that our team may reach out to request additional information in the following cases:
