When you have sent your Booking Enquiry to the Venue Manager, the platform will update its status. Below you will find all the statuses that might occur in your Enquiries list (in the "My Enquiries" section) as well as all possible communications that might show up in the messenger.
SENT
After you have sent your Booking Enquiry, the status will be shown as “Sent”.
If you have chosen a Venue that does not allow you to pay online (If you need assistance with the payment process please check our article here), the following message will show up in the messenger.
If the Booking Enquiry was sent to the Venue that allows you to pay online, you will encounter the prompt featured below:
ONGOING
If the Booking Enquiry is in progress and you are still in talks with the Venue Manager or there is some difficulty in completing the Booking Enquiry, the status will change to “Ongoing”.
If you have chosen a Venue that does not allow you to pay online, you will encounter the prompt featured below in the messenger.
If the Booking Enquiry was sent to the Venue that allows you to pay online, the "Ongoing" status means that there was some difficulty in completing your Booking Enquiry. You will encounter then a similar message to the one featured below:
BOOKING REQUESTED (applicable only to online payments)
When the Booking Request has reached the Venue Manager, the status will change to “Booking Requested”. However, please note that this status applies ONLY to the Venues that accept online payments via Tagvenue. If you chose the Venue that does not allow you to pay online, the status will remain as "Ongoing" at this stage.
If you submitted your Booking Request to the Venue that does not accept online payments, such a message will be visible in the messenger:
If you submitted your Booking Request to the Venue that accepts online payments (meaning that you entered your credit card details), such a message will be visible in the messenger:
BOOKING CONFIRMED
If the Venue accepts the Booking Request, the status will change to “Booking Confirmed”.
Regardless of the fact if you chose a Venue that accepts the online payments or not, the following prompt will be visible in the messenger:
NOT ACCEPTED:
If the Venue Manager refuses the Booking Request or the Booking Enquiry auto expires (because Venue Manager did not respond within 72 hours), the status will change to “Not Accepted”. You can then try to choose another date or time for your Event or simply choose another Venue. Please note that the same status will appear if you cancel the Booking Enquiry.
Regardless of the fact if you chose a Venue that accepts the online payments or not, the following prompt will be visible in the messenger:
HAPPENED
After the Event takes place, the status will change to “Happened”. You will also be asked to leave a review within 30 days of the Event Date. For further information about leaving reviews on our platform, read more here.
