Can I withdraw/cancel the Booking?

Please note that the process of withdrawing or cancelling your Booking may differ depending on whether the Venue that you chose accepts online payments or not. 

If the Venue does not accept online payments:

Before the Venue Manager responds to you and you changed your ming, you can message them and let them know you are no longer interested. Venue Manager has the option to mark the enquiry as unsuccessful. 

Once the Venue Manager responds to your Booking Enquiry, you will still be able to decline their offer. In order to do that, enter the Booking Enquiry and click on the "Decline" button that will appear once the Venue Manager sends the first message. 

If you have already sent your Booking Request and you want to cancel the Booking, please let your Venue Manager know via messenger. However, please bear in mind that every Venue has its own cancellation policy and we strongly advise you to read it before you proceed with the Booking. You can find Venue's cancellation policy on the Venue listing. 

If the Venue accepts online payments:

If you chose the Venue that accepts online payments but want to cancel the Booking right after you sent a Booking Enquiry, you can cancel your request by contacting the Venue Manager via messenger.

If your Booking Request has already been submitted and is awaiting confirmation from the Venue Manager, please go to the Booking Enquiry you would like to cancel and click on the "Withdraw booking" button. At this point, the authorisation hold placed on your credit card will be released. Please note that Tagvenue does not control the length of time it takes funds to process back to the account. The average is 3-5 days depending on your payment card provider.

Once you press the "Withdraw booking" button, you can choose if you want to proceed, or message the Venue Manager to request an update to the booking. 

If your Venue Manager has already accepted the Booking Request but you would like to cancel the Booking, please open the Booking Enquiry and press the "Cancel booking" button. As well as in the previous case, Venue's cancellation policy will apply.
