Overview
Pre-orders let you share selected catering offers with your client so they can choose their menu before the event.
You can decide which menus to share, add a service fee or discount, and send a pre-order link directly to your client. They’ll review the options in an interactive checkout and submit their selections.
Once they respond, you’ll see their choices in the enquiry view and can print or export the final order to share it with your staff.
Benefits
- Save time – No more chasing clients for menu choices
- Get accurate orders – Clients make their own selections, so you can prepare with confidence
- Stay organised – All pre-orders appear neatly under each enquiry
- Offer flexibility – Add service fees or discounts in a few clicks
- Delight clients – They’ll enjoy a clear, interactive checkout experience
- Be event-ready – Print or export final orders for your team in seconds
How it works
You can request a pre-order in any enquiry, at any stage.
1. Go to an enquiry
Open the enquiry and click Ask for pre-order.
2. Select menus and details
In the pop-up window:
- Choose which menus to include
- Add a due date
- Optionally add a service charge or discount
- Then click Ask for pre-order.
An automatic message with the pre-order link will appear in the messenger, and your client will also receive an email notification about it as well.
3. Client completes the pre-order
Your client will open the link, personalise their menu, and add any extra comments before submitting their pre-order.
4. Review the final order
Once the client submits, you’ll see their selections in the Pre-orders tab of the enquiry.
From there, you can print or export the final order for your team.
Tips
- Make sure your catering offers are set up and are up to date before sharing them.
- Adding a due date helps clients respond on time and keeps planning smooth.
